oh... hey!

Not updating for a while is the worst because basically you just have to make a very boring recap list of all the amazing stuff you've been doing- really doesn't do it justice.

That being said, hope this isn't torture for all of you!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey, scroll down one post- see that guy with stitches on the green screen? here's what it ended up as at recycleme.org. Check out the site for more info on how you can become and organ and tissue donor. It's kind of a no brainer huh!

-More work on Forensic Factor V with my fave make-up artisti, Omar Roessler. Get ready to get grossed out- watch it on the Discovery Channel online!

-The release of the "We own The Night" video by Lullabye Arkestra is delayed (in a good way!). The always lovely Ark has been signed to Vice Records, look forward to the official premiere hen their album is released this summer.

-Had the wonderful opportunity to work on a video series for international video artist Candice Breitz for a survey of her work from the last ten years opening at The Power Plant Gallery September 2009. Photo by Nick Kozak of the Tang triplets, Mariah, Jade and Joelle- such sweethearts!

-New vid in the works with the ever talented J. Melody and Sharpshooter Videos , Superstar below and  V-SECRET out soon!

The Spell- latest from Amanda Morra !

-Also pleased to tell you that a wonderful Bravofact! I worked on last summer was just screened at NXNE this past weekend- Dylan Reibling's "Record".

-Cigarettes Hurt Babies ( you remember, just scroll down one post to see the movie poster) recently screened at San Francisco Film Festival.

oh gosh, i'm sure there's more, but thats all I can give you for now. For those of you twitterers out there I'll be live updating from MAYDAY
(another fascinating Discovery Channel producion recreating real life plane and helicopter crashes!) this coming Thursday and Friday. Follow me!

Thanks!

I'm sure I'm forgetting something...

I think this should be out now???
Check out the trailer for this short I worked on a couple months back from Toronto based Director Adrian Munro.

I was also fortunate enough to attend this year's Bodyssey (face and body paint convention)- I attended workshops with some of the world's best body painters including Dorota Buzcel ( camouflage body paint queen, check this out), Nick Herrera (3D BLACKLIGHT innovator) and Alex Hansen- body paint champion 2008 and in short the nicest dude ever. Basically it blew my mind.

Currently working on Snow Summit Shredders with the lovely Karen Donaldson. It's a hoot. But more importantly I'm learning a lot from the key make-up artist. Feature films are a lot of work though, but I will finally have my name on the illustriouss IMDB!! Life is a pretty sweet fruit.

Oh yeah, and learning the "ancient art of henna" (apparently thats what they call it now?)
MSG ME FOR FREE HENNA TATTOOS.
Mega romantic babe shit for the summer

GHOSTS and GOOD NEWS

Such a busy week coming up!
Anyone who knows me knows my affection for daytime TV, in particular CBC's Steven and Chris Show anyway, good news!! I am working on the show tomorrow and the next day. SCORE.

As for last weekend, check out these shots from a Giovanni Models shoot with Carl Heindl (www.eroder.com). Great photographer, great models, hopefully we can all work together in the future and make some crazy stuff.

Which stitch?

Yeah, it's a Harry Potter poster, AND WHAT!?

Hi friends,

Check out these stitches I did today. They were done as practice for a film I'll be working on in at the end of the month.

In other news, I am currently working on a series of make-up tutorial videos!! I guarantee them to be much more entertaining then these random photos. But that being said, I'm looking for some pointers on video editing- nothing fancy, just video blog/youtube quality editing where I can insert text and music. If you have any tips/shortcuts please let me know!!

My brain hurts

It's Tuesday and I'm still recovering from a weekend of madness, what's with that?? Anyway, check out these teaser pics from Lullabye Arkestra's upcoming video, "We Fuck The Night".

It was a super fun shoot to work on! Thanks so much to two of my favourite make-up artists, Shanelle Khan and Natasha Sbardella who agreed to help me out on this project.

Thanks also to adrift (mark and lyndsey!), the crew and our wonderful cast of zombies. I will post pictures of the lot as they filter in. For now, check out these two pics by Benjamin Oakley and Katia Taylor (presumably).

It was bloody fun.
